The Other Side Ventures was founded by Will Alt in 2022 with the goal of creating positive change in peoples lives and helping others in need through the great outdoors. With a lifetime passion for the outdoors and having experienced first-hand the healing power through the outdoors as an Army veteran, it quickly became Wills life mission to help not only struggling veterans, but disabled individuals and youth with a desire for the outdoors. Only those who have experienced it first hand will ever truly know the healing power of nature and the great outdoors.
In 2023, Will and his fiancé, Hannah set out on a mission to build a team of like-minded individuals to further spread their footprint within the outdoor community in hopes of creating real positive change on a much larger scale. The team’s main focus is to create a safe, accepting environment for people to thrive in the outdoors, making life altering memories told for years to come. With such an amazing team assembled in early 2024, they decided to expand their reach further and start offering promotional hunts to help raise funding to be able to provide more opportunities to take others in need on trips across the world. This is when The Other Side Promotional Ventures was born.
Follow along as The Other Side team films adventures across the world with our nations hero’s and so many others. While proving just how much wholesome country values, family, and a selfless approach can change the dynamics of all we do. There is nothing better in life than being able to change lives doing what we all love most surrounded by like minded family that grows every day.

Veteran, father, entrepreneur & avid outdoorsman passionate about helping others get to the other side of hardship
Born and raised in a small town in Montana, Will grew to love the outdoors early in life exploring the mountains on camping trips with his family. Wills uncle, Elmo also introduced him to hunting at a young age, not knowing it would turn into a lifelong passion.
Shortly after 9/11, he proudly served his country in the Army as an Explosive Hazard Trainer in Iraq. Coming out of the Army, it was the outdoors that brought and continues to bring a sense of peace to his life. Wills own experiences through life have always been healed through the outdoors and is ultimately how The Other Side Ventures was born. With the premise of helping others get through the other side of hardship in life. Through this primary goal, the team has been able to help countless others, and their mission has only just begun.
For several years now, Will has shown his appreciation and respect to other Veterans by taking many on hunts and outdoor adventures all around the world. Seeing first-hand the amount of the healing and peace that the outdoors continues to provide to those who need it most will always be a driving force in Wills life.
Will is also a very proud Dad to Ava, Lincoln, and their new little sister, BlakeLee. The family is held together by Wills amazing Fiancé, Hannah.
Will enjoys both archery and rifle hunting all around the world. Some of his most memorable hunts would include his Spanish Ibex Grand Slam, Yukon Moose, and Cape buffalo with his bow. He also was finally able to take his dad hunting and he got a beautiful whitetail in Texas. A very proud Dad moment would also be getting to see his -then 5-year-old Lincoln, get his first bull elk this past winter.

After serving over 8 years in the United States Marine Corps and being medically retired, David focused his passion on the outdoors. An avid outdoorsman and Bowhunter David looked to wildlife photography to increase his time in the mountains. David set out to photograph his favorite North American animal, the Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep. Scaling mountains thought arduous bear country and treating photography with the same structure as Bowhunting, David has become the world’s foremost Bighorn Sheep Photographer. David has worked with the likes of National Geographic, Animal Planet and Discovery as well as being sponsored by top outdoor brands, David is 37 years old and is from Ennis, Montana.

Born and raised in South Georgia, Hannah started off in the outdoors only 5 years ago through photography. She spent a summer training horses & dogs in South Dakota along with working alongside some of the best in the game field trialing in Wisconsin. It was in Wisconsin that she got into bow hunting. Bowhunting, cooking for her family & traveling are a few of her favorite things. Hannah is an excited mama to be with her fiancé Will Alt.

Jeff, a South Alabama native, was raised in a household where hunting and woodworking were deeply ingrained traditions. His skills in hunting were honed from a young age, instilling in him a sense of self-reliance and gratitude for the land. Alongside his passion for construction, Jeff dedicated himself to building homes that stood the test of time, crafting everything from cutting lumber to erecting entire houses. Despite facing numerous challenges, including a severe accident resulting in a broken neck and back, Jeff's determination and resilience have always prevailed. Instead of being defined by setbacks, he uses them as motivation to push forward, both physically and mentally. Jeff's commitment to passing on traditions to his daughter, Hannah, reflects his dedication to preserving values of hard work and resourcefulness, making him an inspiring figure to all who know him.

Hi, I'm Allie Butler! I was born and raised in a very small town in Kentucky. I've been tagging along hunting with my dad since before I could walk. He would throw me on his shoulders and we would check trap lines. My passion for the outdoors grew from there. I killed my first Boone and Crockett buck in 2015 and that really kicked off my career in marketing for the outdoor industry. I have a daughter named Wrenlee Rose. Nick was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest on the east side of Washington State. With a love for graphic design and fast cars he never saw himself as a Hunter until Will, the founder of The Other Side Ventures took him on a dream hunt in South Africa. This hunt came shortly after Nick was nearly killed in an automobile accident and after recovery, was on a path of wanting to experience life to the fullest. After experiencing the beauty and enchantment of hunting in South Africa, he was hooked.
