UPDATE FROM FAMILY:
We recently received the devastating news that the biopsy confirmed Beckham has Diffuse Midline Glioma (DIPG) a very rare, high-grade malignant tumor in the pons of his brainstem. Although we prayed this wouldn’t be the outcome, we are holding onto hope that with the new treatments and trials available, we can shrink it completely.
Beckham remains strong, showing so little in terms of symptoms, and continues to amaze us every day. Please keep praying for our little warrior—that this tumor will be weak, and that we’ll find the right path to beat it.
We will keep praying for a miracle of healing, for wisdom and strength as his parents to navigate this journey, for continued advancements in modern medicine and treatments, and for his doctors throughout the entire process.
The past few months have been the hardest of our lives. Thank you to everyone who has shown up, brought dinner, offered to watch the babies, or sent a thoughtful text. We are so thankful to have such strong and supportive people to lean on. Thank you for being a part of Beckham’s Army.
